Eric Davis Appears to Admit Writing Wilson/Davis Memo in Closed Facebook Post
In an interesting turn of events, physicist Dr. Eric Davis seems to have confirmed his authorship of the Wilson/Davis memo in a recent Facebook post. The memo, for those of you who may not recall, details a 2002 meeting between Davis and former Defense Intelligence Agency director Admiral Thomas Wilson regarding classified UFO programs and Wilson’s inability to gain access to them.
According to a screenshot shared on Reddit, Davis wrote in a private Facebook group: “our meeting” and “my interview notes,” clearly referring to the memo. This marks a definite shift from Davis’s previous stance of refusing to acknowledge authorship of the document. Although, to be fair, he came extremely close on one or two previous occasions.
The post also included criticism of those who leaked the memo, with Davis calling it “unethical” for the heirs of astronaut Edgar Mitchell to release the document. He expressed frustration that his “interview notes” were made public without his consent. I don’t think Davis has a perfect understanding of how the notes were released, but why should he be expected to? He is rather tough on Grant Cameron here, in my opinion.
He gets the main elements right: the notes came from Edgar Mitchell’s estate. What I learned from James Rigney that the children of Dr. Mitchell were going to destroy these and many other notes but a close friend of Mitchell (someone described almost like a son to him) begged to keep some of them and was allowed to do so. He returned to Australia where he lived, soon shared them with fellow Australian James Rigney, who began the process of showing them to other parties. It was James who showed them to Grant Cameron in late 2018. I received them anonymously in April 2019. Then, in early June, I made the decision to publicize them on my Youtube Channel after I had seen the beginnings of discussion about them in a private email chain. I say this just for the sake of clarification.
And for the record, although neither Grant Cameron or I had wanted to be the person to leak the document to the world, I had already privately decided that I would do it if it didn’t happen within a few months. I hadn’t made a deadline, but I was decided on making sure they would get out one way or another. It turns out I didn’t have to be the one, although I was the first to publicize them in a significant way.
As many people recall, Admiral Wilson has consistently denied the meeting described in the memo ever took place, a claim that quite a few journalists and researchers seemed content to take at face value.
I think it’s fair to say that any legitimate doubts about this memo have long since ceased to have any hold over most people who have looked into it. It seems that this last statement is the final nail in the coffin of the doubters.

Richard you did the right thing releasing memo. Secrets are never good. Lies are not good. Secrets and lies rot the human soul and destroy healthy societies. I can say a lot more but I don’t care to say more. Thank you for your very hard work, sacrifice of your time, and tremendous courage fighting the good fight!
Lies and secrets are GREAT! All “whistleblowers” nowadays use them. That’s what “whistleblower” means in the year 2024, and everyone who’s important in our field knows it and goes along with it. “Whistleblowers” all have NDAs, which are powerful mysterious God-like things… kind of like the aliens they want us to believe in, but these NDAs are the head deities in a secrecy and lies cult.
Be sure to buy the latest and most important book in the series — “The Big Books Of Secrets We Really Can’t Tell You But Will Pimp You Along For 8 Years With.”
Richard,
If proof of the pudding is in the eating, then vindication of how good it tastes is in the sharing. The sharing of the pudding has been a long time coming for you, and I suspect it tastes pretty good right about now.

What are your thoughts on Davis’ status in the government when it comes to the phenomenon? I just get the vibe, especially after he comments on Lue and this, that he isn’t a pro-disclosure guy. I understand that secrets are secrets and we can’t truly expect anyone to risk their lives for letting the truth out there, but idk, I wish I had a better way to phrase it but I just get bad/weird vibes from Davis.
Also, is Ross Coulthart one of the journalists you allude to who seems to take Wilson’s denial at face value? When I read his book In Plain Sight I recall that being the insinuation he made but in many words!
I agree. I can’t say I have gotten any sense directly from him but I do believe he is not in favor. I would suspect he has some sympathies, since I know that his friend and colleague Hal Puthoff does. But I suspect Davis knows things that have persuaded him that this is not something to be rushed. At least that is my sense, I cannot speak from any authority here.
Thanks for your response!
>>>” we can’t truly expect anyone to risk their lives for letting the truth out there,”<<<
And just why the hell NOT? We supposedly PAY these people to risk their lives ON OUR BEHALF, not Raytheon's, Boeing's, Northrup-Grummond or whomever we are shoveling a significant fraction of a trillion dollars at THIS WEEK. We are already paying these corporate barbarians off, why do we have to please them in every other way?
And Lue. It always comes back to Lue. Lue the torturer. Lue the secret keeper. Lue the war hero. Lue, the guy who promised to put his life on the line for us but won't actually do that when it comes to the truth. Lue's lawyer, arguably the greatest cover-up artist of ALL TIME tells him not to put his life on the line and that he doesn't have to, especially over something as trivial as telling the truth to the American people and the world. Secrets that protect the existing power structure, the bankers, the oligarchs, Lue's real commanders. That's who they ALL serve, Chris Mellon, all the other CIA guys, Garry Nolan, all those guys who smile at you and then say, "I'm not telling, except maybe a few no-calorie breadcrumbs so I continue to get attention and money,"
And Eric Davis? Maybe he never took the oath of service… maybe he never promised to protect the Constitution of the United States. But he lives here and enjoys what we have. He takes what I understand to be not inconsiderable fees for government service.
John F. Kennedy asked what we could could do for our country… these men have never heard that question, only the question of what they could do as muscle or brains for the Empire and its Oligarchs.
More and more I think we need to question whether these disclosure-bozos actually KNOW anything worth knowing. Is that why they won’t tell us anything, because they CAN’T?
Hey. Maybe now retired Admiral Wilson will appear to admit he was the subject of the notes. Case closed. Mystery solved. Now we all know the truth and rest will come tumbling out because of the importance of this revelation, sending shock waves through the UFO-verse and through NewsNation, the official/not official channel of UFO disclosure and through the heroes and legends of people like Ross, George and that guy who wants us to think he’s a lumberjack, who are the Official/Not Official mouthpieces of UFO disclosure… nothing left to do but wait for America’s Next Top Zionist to make an appearance on Ancient Aliens to hand out medals to all the obedient guys (and gals!) in the trenches.
Ministry of Truth Personnel, pat yourselves and the back, give yourself an extra pack of Victory Cigarettes and a whole week’s extra chocolate ration! The UFO public all thinks something big happened! That they learned something! This will make them happy for months! Maybe even a year! Every month, every year… nay every minute, every SECOND of continued ignorance on the part of the public protects our leaders and our very way of life in serving those leaders… and all the rewards that come with that.
Spoiler Alert! David Grusch is going to say something about Lue’s book that will have everyone talking! Watch for it!
Deciding what to “leak” or not is seemingly impossible- but my understanding is that it’s only necessary to maintain confidentiality from the American public if there is information within that could threaten national security and/or releasing sources/methods to our perceived adversaries. This document did none of that. There was no good reason to keep this from the public other than fear of blowing the cover of an illegally funded, unconstitutional legacy program. I don’t think Cameron was (nor would you have been) in the wrong whatsoever. Humanity has the right to know our place in the cosmos- whether it’s for better or worse- and the gall of these “knowledge brokers” to feel entitled to keep this under wraps since at least the 1940’s is totally unwarranted. The sleazy manipulation of the American people, the lies upon lies of the few running these legacy programs and unauthorized spending of countless billions in tax payers money is FAR more disturbing than the reality of these “others”, regardless of the innocuous nature of their presence and behaviors. 🙌🏼
Thanks. Grant and I did and do believe there was nothing wrong with leaking the document. The problem was in the embarrassment of the people who controlled that document for so long. They had their reasons for keeping it quiet and honestly, I do understand that. But I also knew that at some point the secret would have to come out. The thing is, I know some of those people and didn’t want to be the guy who outed them. But I was indeed determined that I would do it if no one else did — once I had a copy of the full document myself starting in April 2019.
Your 5 hour Wilson Davis deep dive video series sealed it for me. There are so many people involved behind the scenes in the UFO/ET cover up. They can’t talk and reveal stuff but it’s all true. Eric Davis here would not type what he did if it wasn’t true, Dr. Garry Nolan even stated this on Eric Davis and even vouched for his honesty in several taped interviews. Having just finished “Witness to Roswell” by Don Schmitt and Tom Carey, the latest version with the green cover, the part that really got to me in the book, was how much the people & military who were at the Roswell crash retrieval, for years after, were followed and threatened to never reveal what they experienced at Roswell or suffer the consequences, loss of benefits was big, threatened with being Jailed, and be murdered! For a weather balloon! Year after year Don Schmitt, Tom Carey and Kevin Randle is even mentioned how they would ask to re-interview, asking family to help, to get to the story,,,as witnesses to Roswell, they were so in fear of the repercussions the witnesses would never talk, the information went to the grave with many. They never spoke publicly or were eventually allowed by the Govt to talk about a weather balloon….. Why? This all dovetails into what Richard Dolan has in his vast video archives……..the amount of sightings and things people see and report is huge. USOs now big, the year after year of UFO reports to Peter Davenport, MUFON, and the rest. Military and Civilians in the know with NDAs and yes we all know that NDAs are necessary…but what, what was so alarming in Roswell and many more events to enforce strict silence, what is the bottom line, why Eric Davis did the notes with Adm Wilson on that program he was denied access as J2….and his being threatened with loss of rank and pay…..what is so alarming that people are in fear of their own Govt and Military? I’m reading Lue’s book “Imminent” now and there mere fact Lue’s wife Jennifer and kids experienced Orbs in their house………..! is remarkable. That should be another Richard Dolan interview if he can get them to talk and a blockbuster of an interview, especially the kids! if those are Govt Orbs, then we have a MAJOR Constitutional Rights issue going on…..! Orbs in Lue’s house with wife and kids as witnesses!!! …………………….What is so alarming for the need to cover this up? That’s all I can come up with because there has to be an imbalance of current and future for the Planet if revealed. Something has to go off kilter if revealed to the masses. Eric Davis could blow the lid off the cover up,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hi Tom. Really appreciate your comment.
