Our Revolutionary Moment | FCP Nov. 2, 2025

Hi Everyone,

A couple of interesting news stories from this week, then followed by some thoughts about how the modern UFO/UAP disclosure movement is really part and parcel of the broader revolutionary transformation of our world — in pretty much every direction we care to look.

I started by looking at a story on the company Enigma, which has an app by which you can track thousands of UFO sightings. I’ve never really known what to think about Enigma. Who are they? What is their actual agenda? They have a nice website with some good articles and research.  I don’t use them on my phone — I guess I should — since they seem designed primarily for that. Even so, the interesting thing here is that the NY Post wrote about them and the fact that they apparently are collecting numerous USO accounts off the U.S. coast. No details about these, but I believe they are getting some, sure. Also the claim that Enigma Labs has received over 30,000 UFO cases since starting up in late 2022. If that is true, they are raking in about double the number of sightings that go to the National UFO Reporting Center. I can’t check their statistics. Honestly, I am finding this claim a bit hard to believe. But maybe it’s true.

The point is that this type of article and coverage would have been unlikely in the extreme a decade or more ago. So too with the other interesting stories of the week.

More followup on the peer reviewed article of Dr. Beatriz Villaroelle on astronomical oddities in photographic plates of the 1950s, before we had any manmade objects in Earth orbit. Here is one from Scientific American. Their main angle here was to promote non-UFO theories about what she found. I go over them in the video. Personally, I don’t find them convincing. You can check for yourself.

But overall there has been a fair amount of coverage of her work, much of it quite supportive. Again, this would not have happened over a decade ago.

I came across a strange video of a possible anomaly over Moscow, posted on Youtube. Some say meteor, others UFO. Personally I have no idea what that is. It’s interesting, yes. But wow, some of the comments below that video make you realize: we are certainly not ready for genuine contact with highly advanced beings. I just don’t think we’ve got it yet.

The last news item I discussed were some remarks made by J.D. Vance about UFOs. This is probably best covered in print by The Hill. In reality, Vance didn’t say very much. This was an answer to a question on a podcast in which he briefly riffed on his thoughts about the subject. His basic orientation appears to be that there are genuine mysteries in our world and that UFOs might represent something spiritual.

It’s nothing especially deep or compelling. I only mention it here because this man is the Vice President of the country and was clearly not afraid to discuss the topic, or to align himself with some level of “belief” about it. This would have been unthinkable more than ten years ago. Remember what happened to Dennis Kucinich? I sure do.

All of this tells me that our culture treats this subject very, very differently than how it did in the past. Something has changed. No, we aren’t in “disclosure.” But things have changed. My position is that this change is related to the larger global transformation we are all living through now. Global political realignment — that’s definitely happening.  Economic dislocation growing and only to grow more. But really, I see most or all of this as dependent upon the greatest driver of change: the massive technological/digital transformation, including AI. That seems to be pushing everything else. Lots of instability all around us, and the UFO conversation is part of this.

So I go into some places with that discussion. I hope you find it interesting. Where this will all lead — we may not be able to predict that, but we do have a fr0nt row seat, and probably more knowledge of the process than most people.
