Interesting piece on Rubio & UFOs (which quotes me)

By | July 22, 2020

Going through my morning news read I was surprised to see this article in the American Spectator, following up on the interesting interview Senator Marco Rubio gave last week for CBS Miami. For those of you who missed it, I posted something about it on this site a few days ago.

The article from the American Spectator, linked below, provides additional commentary about Rubio’s interview. Despite the goofy photograph at the top, it’s quite reasoned.

What shocked me was that I was quoted early on all this. Very much surprised, but pleased to see more seriousness from mainstream journalists.

Reading the comments below the article gives much less cause for optimism. Most of these folks proudly display their ignorance. Awareness by allegedly educated people is clearly still very low.

For some reason, the link doesn’t work. Is it me or has anyone else experienced difficulties?

Anyway, will try a different route.

Thanks for the heads up. I read the article here: https://spectator.org/marco-rubio-ufo-truther/

I like the American Spectator, It’s a long standing publication with a strong focus on American Values. I grew up outside of Lexington Massachusetts, so it appeals to my minuteman senses. I had to reread the article twice, slap myself and then pour cold water over my face just to make sure they were referring to our Richard Dolan. You are highly credible and well known, however the areas you cover are purposely neglected by the mainstream media and considered “off the grid.” Seeing you seriously quoted in a conservative well read publication on UFOs and politics told me something…your work is seeping through the main stream media barriers and Americans are interested. The win here is just that. The Richard Dolan Express is being boarded by more and more by Americans who want to know more. I respect Mark Rubio, however I feel that the senate intelligence committee and line item budget on 2021 bill is just another well orchestrated step in controlled disclosure. Just my my opinion.

    Hi Richard,
Very glad to see you quoted in a respectful context in “The American Spectator.” The article does remind me of the disconnect between what AATIP is ostensibly investigating and what is the probable reality of the secret space program (convincingly made by the speakers at the San Mateo conference back in 2014) and the breeding of hybrids (Jacobs). We’re doing a version of the late 40’s/early50’s with somewhat greater transparency. Trouble is, we’re in 2020, 70 to 80 years later. Those in the know are flying homegrown saucers while clueless politicians are acting like saucers are a great mystery. Don’t know if Sen. Rubio got the Adm. Wilson treatment at some point in his career and he’s decided to play along with a limited hangout, or if he’s a “useful innocent.” (“Useful idiot” would be unfairly pejorative in this instance.) Richard, if “Unidentified” interviews you for a new clip, please point out to them that some of us are skeptical about an organization that grossly understates what is truly going on.

Here is an interesting piece from the Washington examiner by Jerry Dunleavy, justice department reporter, July 17, 2020, entitled, National Security Risk: Rubio seeks declassification of UFO secrets.
This is getting really interesting! The more I research this topic the more I get involved. It appears there is alot of legitimate information on the subject which I find the “average” citizen has no clue.
There are a few well respected individuals in my “arena” who are highly educated that think this is a subject for people who wear”Tim foil” hats. Consequently,I am forced to conclude that alot less of the population than one would realize think this is a legitimate, serious topic, my neighbors included.
I have found however, in general, people are at least open to the idea of the possibility of life on other planets. When I get “specific” they turn off.

I hope Rubio will step up his game in the near future. He should give a speech at the Republican National Convention about this topic.

    FIRST, WE TAKE MANHATTAN
    by Leonard Cohen

They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
I’m coming now, I’m coming to reward them
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I’m guided by a signal in the heavens (guided, guided)
I’m guided by this Earthmark on my skin (guided, guided by)
I’m guided by the beauty of our weapons (guided)
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

(I’d really like to live beside you, baby)
(I love your body and your spirit and your clothes)
(But you see that line there moving through the station?)
(I told you, I told you, told you, I was one of those)

Ah, you loved me as a loser
But now you’re worried that I just might win
You know the way to stop me, but you don’t have the discipline
How many nights I prayed for this, to let my work begin
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I don’t like your fashion business, mister
And I don’t like these drugs that keep you thin
I don’t like what happened to my sister
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

(I’d really like to live beside you, baby)
(I love your body and your spirit and your clothes)
(But you see that line there moving through the station?)
(I told you, I told you, told you, I was one of those)

And I thank you for those items that you sent me, ha ha ha
The monkey and the plywood violin
I practiced every night, now I’m ready
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin (I am guided)

Ah remember me, I used to live for music (baby)
Remember me, I brought your groceries in (ooh, baby, yeah)
Well, it’s Father’s Day and everybody’s wounded (baby)
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

Alternative Media, like Spectator, on both the Right and Left, can now be a very fertile ground for you – not Ufologists in general, but You, uniquely – to expand the audience of Ufology into what English journalist Auberon Waugh termed “the chattering classes” of the upper middle class urban & suburbanites who constitute most of those politically active, in both parties. The Institute could offer a series of immersive [zoom-like] Briefings for serious ‘Intelligentsia’ who are suddenly desirous of *not being clueless* on the ETUFO Problem, as it emerges. You would make the audience lists highly selective, and attendance free to the participants (perhaps with a paid recording offered afterwards to the hoi palloi). Your 3-hr presentation would screen out all the crap, tersely cite a quick litany of incontrovertible case highlights (30 mins), summarize (and indict) the history of the Coverup by the Intelligence Community and Pentagon (30 mins), outline the hard evidence for the “Ground Presence” of Abductions & Hybrids (20 mins), and crescendo with the best quotes by officials (10 mins), in the first Half, and then proceed to an outline of their deduced Operations (30 mins) and Objectives (30 mins), then provocatively challenging the audience on the Implications of it all (20 mins), and then Closing with a (10 min.) detailed and specific “Targeting List” of *Where THEY Should Go Look for More* (i.e. data *We* know probably exists, but can’t get at, which Congressional Staffers, Journalists, Lobbyists, etc. might obtain better access to).
As I said, a “Take No Prisoners” Ufology, for the 2020s.

PTD, I agree. There is also a related problem, distinct from ETs/UFOs but overlapping with it: the hoarding of advanced technology for defense purposes or, at best, for the use of a few favored firms. A friend of mine who was initially skeptical of the secret space program changed his mind when I told him to just consider how many patents have been suppressed over the years. (I think I read once that solar cells with efficiencies of >20% were considered a matter of national security.) Withholding of technical breakthroughs that would otherwise be in the marketplace was going on before the modern UFO era and would be continuing even in the absence of ETs/UFO’s. The latter issue just makes the problem more acute. I realize that some technologies, which could easily be weaponized, might have to remain within a veil of secrecy; but many more breakthroughs would work to make people more independent of the whole corporatism-based system–oh yeah, that’s why they’re still a secret.

I am quite familiar with this issue, having worked with inventors in Free Energy/Overunity and other advanced concepts, such as ‘Anti-Gravity’ and Cold Fusion, for many years. The means by which these technologies have been suppressed go beyond legally seizing their patents on “national security” grounds. Inventors have been murdered, framed & imprisoned for crimes they never committed, libelled/slandered, sabotaged by fake investors, sued under false pretenses; there’s a variety of techniques that keep being used to silence or ruin them to keep them from getting from ‘technology’ to ‘product’. But there are consistent reports of MiB interference, intimidation, arson, etc., that sound identical to the MiB accounts in Ufology. I am convinced that these technologies are being suppressed by Alien Hybrid Operatives, rather than by “Big Oil” or “the Government”. Our having such capabilities – among the public – is a threat to something they are doing or intend to do here, among or “to” us.

There’s a series of “Allies of Humanity” books by a Marshall Vian Summers, in which he claims that friendly ET’s warned him telepathically that conniving ETs are attempting to incorporate the Earth into their highly rigid society, a society in competition with similar ET societies. It’s a sort of a cross between Puritans trying to convert the carefree natives and the U.S. trying to prop up a local warlord in competition with other warlords being propped by by the Russkies and ChiComs. Leaving aside that a whole religion has been formed around how to avoid being manipulated by the “Greater Community” of ETs, the idea of a interstellar version of the Cold War makes a certain sense. It would explain why the ET’s don’t just take us over (after all, they’re old hands at the technologies they’re buy suppressing here on Earth.) Perhaps there are countervailing and jealous ET powers. Team A says to Team B, “If you’re going to just grab Earth for yourselves, we’ll go ahead and grab Zork for ourselves. No more Zorkian weed for you. How do you like them gorgles?.” Of necessity, there may be rules of the game that forestall mutually ruinous warfare. There may be also, for lack of a better term, be spiritual laws that even ET scoundrels must bend to (as well as bend.) One of them may be something like, “No planet can give up its freedom and sovereignty without some critical level of its knowledge and consent.” I doubt that a cabal of traitorous gazillionaires doesn’t meet that condition. Nor does any clandestine program kept from the public. What would be required, I suspect, is a real world government (not the UN) whose people have already acquiesced to a level of serfdom that would make their incorporation into a wider serfdom morally moot. The people as a whole, and not just their leaders, must be degraded. While this putative law would prevent outright conquest, it’s no doubt honored in the breach with ETs and hybrids discreetly manipulating humans to sell their birthright as beings with a God-given right to find their own way. So what do we do about all this?

Considering that is such a recent twitter-quote, and considering how many mainstream reporters under deadline copy formats from each other, I think I’d be preparing an array of pithy and relevant tweets re: Rubio/Senate, crash retrievals, metamaterials, Wilson/Davis, SAPs, and a few classic Disclosure lecture nuggets if I were you. This is awesome to see, I’m grinning ear to ear.

That is how your reps in DC are clueless. Not only re ET. Everything.

With all the research staff on hand, he should have a solid idea. He does not.

Since he is a puppet, we may expect him to be used for some tricks during acclimatization falsely called disclosure.

High time that Dolan’s quoted in a mainstream article – maybe this is the beginning of an overdue trend!

  11. Avatarjennymemon

This is actually quite promising Richard! I had no idea he was so interested. I wish some of our (UK) politicians would give a sh*t! I think he should watch his back to be honest, I suppose it depends if he has been given the ‘go ahead’ to look into all this.
I see they are still sticking with the old ‘we dont know what they are’ crap. Wouldnt it be refreshing if they would just spit it out for crying out loud! Jesus wept, is there ANYONE on earth who actually thinks they are Russian or Chinese? I doubt it.
I hope they got your quote correct, they seldom do!

Perhaps my previous comment i misread the tone and delivery ?

It was great to see you getting top billing Richard! There should be more of it.

Let us all cheer for yet another fairly mainstream news organization’s decent, non-disparaging article on the serious nature of UFO’s and the need to investigate them (and stop the illegal secrecy)!

Let us cheer again that our cool and level-headed champion Richard Dolan was quoted in this article. “Onward!”

This makes me hopeful that a confluence of events and media interest is building in the public for this embargoed subject — any theories as to the ultimate source? Is it the natural reaction from the US Navy videos/TTSA, the Eric Davis / Admiral Wilson notes, or is Rubio just trying to make a name for himself? I also agree with Bob McGwier’s speculation that Rubio — being a staunch Catholic — likely has support from the Vatican for pursuing this.

Once again all comments on anything of intetest/truth lead to political banter and derail actual discussion. I have to believe this is intentional as it occurs in nearly every public comment section.

Perhaps the real question is why are more people not concerned? Obvious answers include “they know it is a military project” (Senators) and “people can’t see beyond today’s headline” (Covid, racism, the coin shortage!!!), but one would think ridicule of documented accounts should itself be seen as ignorant.

I’m interested to see if this gains traction, and what direction Rubio heads with it. I’m hoping he continues to communicate his concerns to the public and not wither under tired attempts to mock those who do.

Richard, nice to see you acknowledged, keep fighting the good fight.
