I recorded a short video exploring the issue recently raised by Ross Coulthart concerning Luis Elizondo, that Lue has a history with what we often refer to as the Legacy Program, and that moreover this was initiated by James Clapper back in 2017 or so as a way to move the UFO discussion away from crash retrievals into safer territory. Essentially a government managed form of controlled disclosure.
I am not saying Ross is entirely wrong. I honestly don’t know what I think. But I do think the idea of steering the public away from crash retrievals doesn’t make much sense to me. Ross stated that it took David Grusch in 2023 to “wrong foot” the plan. But I distinctly recall Lue’s 2019 interview on Fox with Tucker Carlson where he explicitly stated that UFO crash retrievals were a real thing. I hunted down that clip and included in this video.
I think my main goal in this video isn’t to take sides. Good god there’s too much of that going on already. I do think that I want to understand what actually happened before I make a moral judgment, which I notice roughly 90 percent of the Youtube public has done.
Anyway, it’s a short video. I might follow it up with a question I don’t really address but should. While Ross says the managed disclosure initiative was in order to steer the public away from talk about crash retrievals, I honestly don’t find this persuasive at all. Who, in 2017, was threatening to blow up the C/R program? No one outside of the (then still small) UFO community was interested.
However, there are some reasons why a managed disclosure program might have occurred. Because it certainly isn’t impossible, that’s for sure. But the question would be: managed toward … what? What outcome? Slow public acceptance of the inevitable? Fake alien invasion? Something else?
So I might come back to that question. Meanwhile, here’s this.

The biggest issue I have withLue is that he is close to Clapper who is a sinister, anti democratic figure. The 2017 timeline might have something to do with who was in the White House then, or rather who wasn’t. Clapper clearly expected Hillary to win and the move in 2017 may have something to do with creating a narrative that provides them with some cover when she didn’t.
I draw a distinction between true whistleblowers like David Grusch and Matthew Brown who were cast out by the deep state and subjected to harassment and people like Lue and Jay Stratton. I don’t know the motivations of the latter group but it is clear that they stayed “onside” with the MIC by complying with DOPSR, maintaining their clearances and in some cases continuing to work with the agencies. While they may want some information to come out, if pushed to choose between the people and the deep state they will probably fall in line behind the security state. There is a reason Rubio and Clapper were in the age of disclosure but not Grusch.
That is probably a long winded way of agreeing with your hypothesis about an internal factional war! There may be three groups however, the secret keepers, the controlled disclosure group and the catastrophic disclosure group who believes our government and MIC need more radical medicine.
Nobody in the government does anything without and ulterior motive, especially “spooks”. So they want us to think and act in some sort of way. Age of Disclosure was heavy on the military threat. Is it that they want to do something to cause some amount of fear/tension so that we are fine spending massive amounts of money (on top of what they’ve been siphoning off for Legacy programs already) for some space “defense”?
I have been watching Burleson on American Alchemy and he flat out stated that we are trying to reach and occupy this lagrangian point between earth and the moon. What is going on with that? What does our goverment plan to do that they must dominate this space?
I personally don’t trust the government, or any long term employee, spook, “public servant” sort of person. They live to deceive and our entire history is full of deception perpetrated by the government. They’re up to no good.
I just want the truth about aliens being here to come out. I don’t have any expectation that acknowledgement of crash retrievals will ever come out.
Maybe a bit off topic – but here goes; While watching STOS episode “The Menagerie” the other day, it occurred to me that what the Talosians were doing to Capt. Pike is exactly what everyone today is starting to accept. That the NHI we’re discussing is able to manipulate our reality in any way shape or form just as written and portrayed in the Star Trek 2 part episode mentioned above. IT’S THE EXACT SAME scenario in that story as is being discussed today.
So, was Gene Roddenberry in on something back in the 60″s? He wrote the screenplay and there are stories and rumors twirling around him that he “might” have actually been some sort of insider, or had some connections that led him to write that story?
Just throwin’ that out for all of us STOS fans to ponder.

Interesting connection, Scott! Glad you shared that. And have a happy 4th! While I am at it, EVERYONE have a happy 4th of July! At least if that’s your thing.
Can we trust them ? Can we trust the disclosure process at all ?
That have been my thought since day one, day one of the goverment disclosure effort that is. I am much more positive about the stories coming from witnesses and researchers as yourself Richard. But you allready know that I have taken that position.
As an example : The realease that included a video taken from a plane or satellite where the unknown object flew from left to right in the image, then suddenly seem to change course a bit up in the video and then shot out to the right. That is not a video of a craft that suddenly shot off.
It is obvious in the video when you focus on the ground beneath that the tracking camera stop the tracking and pans out . The object does not change course or speed up, the camera STOP the tracking. Focus on the ground vs the camera instead and it can easily be seen.
This must be known by the people that release the video so that they include it in a disclosure release give away their intentions.
