Hi Everyone,
I am posting this a bit late because, frankly, this post took a bit of time to prepare and deliver. It’s a good one, covering SOME of the interesting UFO encounters of the last year. I went through the many sightings listed at the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), which has everything listed for 2022 except for the last week. A provisional total of 4,655 sightings, placing it as essentially average over the last six years or so.
I have lots of images in the video to go with the sightings but I do encourage you to visit the NUFORC site yourself to see these images in their hi-res versions — most of them are there and easy to see.
2022 was yet another interesting year of UFO sightings. I can’t say that I took the best of the best here. Frankly, there were just too many for me to go through to make that determination. I did however try my best to select cases that were interesting and (usually) had good images.
We have entered a difficult era when it comes to UFO sightings. Some of these sightings are really tough to figure out. What are we looking at? Some may well be alien craft — they surely seem extremely strange. Others may be classified projects. Some may be flat-out hoaxes. I really would like to know your opinion about some of these.

Shaped in horseshoe pink/magenta lights Was early hours of the morning, I was taking Live Photos on iPhone 13 and saw a horseshoe shape object in the sky above. So I took several shutter photos. It looked like one object, I looked at the sky to make sure I was seeing correctly and continued to photograph. It had several lights of a pink / magenta colour. The sky was quite dark but this object was luminous.

X or Plus Sign shape moveing slow and silent upward angle I left my house between 6:07 to 6:08 AM. I turned North onto Sands Road and noticed what I initially thought was an airplane. They are extremely common as we are close to XNA airport. However, this was a very odd and large X or + (plus sign) shape. It was moving slow, just below cloud level at a slight upward angle heading North – Northwest. I watched the craft enter into the cloud layer and disappear inside. I heard no sounds of jet or prop-driven aircraft. I turned West onto Wallis Road trying to continue to view its path and turned left (South) back into the housing development main entrance. There were no vehicles present in any direction. I continued around and stopped to try to recover my view but it was gone. I was awestruck and didn’t have the presence of mind or time (since it disappeared so quickly) to get out my phone for a video or photo capture. I am an aircraft enthusiast, and this was not an aircraft. The Crafts’ top 2 outstretched “arms” (for lack of a better description) of the craft had (1) light at the end (white). The very center of the “X” or + (plus sign) had a RED LIGHT. The 2 Lower arms had 2 lights each (on each arm). I have made a couple of Drawings (included here) of the shape to define as best as possible, what it appeared like. It was much too large to be a drone. (This craft would have been between 50 to 100 feet in dimension. ) It was not LifeFlight, helicopter, Osprey or other military craft. The craft was silent. Nothing was audible. (I wanted to try to debunk what I saw, so I downloaded and checked Flightpath 24 software to my phone. There were 3 flights between 6 AM and about 6:15 am. None of the flight paths were over my home that morning. The closest path was several miles south. I completed a screen recording of the flight paths to try to disprove what I had just seen, but it just reinforced the reality of it. ) Background: I am a Senior Director of Business Development in consumer goods, in my 50’s. I am analytical with data insight knoiwledge and skills, as well as a minor degree in computer science.

Circular object hovering above farm fields by my house. I go inside to tell partner and had disappeared when I went back outside. One evening in early February at 5:47pm I went outside so my dog could do her business and I looked up at the moon which was above my house. I then noticed what looked like a planet in the sky near the moon, over some farm fields by my house. However, it was too early to be able to see a planet. It was small, circular and light in color. It did not move when I was looking at it. I took photos and video of it, then went inside to tell my partner. He looked out the window and confirmed I wasn’t seeing things. Still in the house, I opened my SkyView app to make sure it wasn’t a planet and indeed it was not. It’s also too large at that distance to be a drone or at least a civilian drone. I went back outside and it was gone, but I took more photos / video of where it had been for documentation. All of this was within a four minute span. I zoomed into the photos I had taken and adjusted the brightness and exposure and it’s somewhat triangular in shape with rounded corners and seems to be illuminated (perhaps from sun reflection or lights on it?). Also, it has what looks to be an aura / haze around it?! I wish I had kept my eyes on it the entire time to see what happened to it! I’m going to attach the evidence I got. Now I’m supposed to give some personal background. I previously worked at a fast paced job in NYC as a manager in analytics consulting. We had a sighting in NYC as well; two smaller wobbling flying saucers going down the street between buildings by our apartment! My partner saw them through binoculars and I saw them with my own eyes. I will post that encounter under New York State sightings. Anyway, we moved back home to Utah and once we had kids we didn’t want a nanny so I chose to stay at home to be the primary caretaker and I don’t regret it. I find the paranormal interesting. However, I am a skeptic and try to debunk something before believing it. I’m a spiritual person but consider myself agnostic – I believe in something higher than us, just not sure anyone can say what it is. What I saw is a head scratcher for sure. Skinwalker Ranch is a couple of hours away and what I saw looks exactly like what they’ve seen over the ranch multiple times if you’ve seen the show.

Medium size triangular ufo with dim lights on side It looked like a triangle with very dim lights on side and was going in one direction and disappeared after approx 4-5 seconds i could see the two lines of that triangular ufo but not the third line (< like this third line not visible). It was not a small triangle its was big and very diminished with dim lights on both sides three on each side. I haven’t took the photo as it was very fast but I draw it and I can send it to you .

Triangle being chased by helicopter When driving home, I saw a helicopter flying a little low from right to left in front of me (over Riverside drive, heading east towards the airport). I was watching it fly by when I noticed the triangular shape in front of it, with a pulsating white light at each corner. After watching for at least a minute, I realized that I need to record this; that’s where the (admittedly shaky) video starts. |

Shiny metallic triangle that approached Military helicopter, with blue light on bottom and accelerated at incredible speed While standing on my condo balcony looking out over the beach and ocean two military helicopters were flying by. I snapped three quick photos of the two military training helicopters that were flying along the beach at about 1000 feet out and maybe 1,000 feet altitude.

If you hit play and count off 4 seconds to the video I’m providing, you will see a cylinder or orb/sphere like object flying by. I didn’t see the object while filming. I discovered it after I got home when I began to zoom in on some of the video I shot while riding. I was shocked to see an object in this one video. It almost seems like a more advanced drone, surveying the road ways of the island, perhaps mapping things out? I think paused the video and I was able to manually scroll through it and capture 3 still shots which I’ll include as well. It would be awesome if you guys could slow down the speed of the video so we can better see what this might be?!?

Low flying triangle over the trees and completely silent. Spotted triangle over the trees of Prado Golf Course. Triangle initially was tilted and then positioned flat over my vehicle. Dark smooth bottom with 3 lights under each corner. Lights were not bright. The triangle did not have sharp edges and it had some type of chrome light reflecting trim all around, but the rest was a very dark material. It was very slow and made absolute no noise. It glided away towards the dark area over the trees surrounding Prado Golf Course. |

Bright flying object with a smoke ring behind it. We were sitting outside around a bonfire. One of us looked up and saw a haze with a bright light. What looked like a smoke ring formed behind it as it continued to move across the sky. We watched it for almost two minutes. It moved too slow to be a shooting star. It was brighter than anything else in the sky. We also took a picture of it and captured the ring behind it. The photo was taken with a simple cellphone

Triangular flying object moving to the side. I was getting home around 1 am, and noticed what I thought was a plane with its landing lights on. It seemed strange though since it was pretty high up. When I got out of my car I noticed that it wasn’t moving in the direction that a plane would if it was using its lights. It was also really high up, and there were no clouds in the sky for the light to be reflecting off of. I tried to take a video with snapchat, but you couldn’t see it. I was able to get this picture from my phone’s camera. I didn’t stay outside to see what it did after the picture was taken. The object was moving down and slightly to the left relative to the picture.

Slow moving ball of pulsating light surrounded by fog aura. Changed speed and direction quickly leaving a halo of “exhaust” All three witnesses were immediately drawn to a slow moving ball of light. Despite being a clear cloudless night the object was surrounded by a hazy fog and had alternating or pulsating light. After hovering in the atmosphere the craft grew brighter and with an explosion of light left a ring of fog in it’s wake as it moved rapidly across the horizon before changing direction again directly away from Earth. It maintained an aura of fog around it at all times. The halo of exhaust hung in the atmosphere for approximately 15 minutes growing larger and larger as it dissipated.

HUGE unkn aircraft passed/glided directly overtop our vehicle. moved slow /made NO sound until right overtop – unkn engine noise We were traveling eastbound route 16. First spotted two huge headlights just above the tree line to our left (north). Only saw headlights until it was directly overhead, craft made NO sound at all on approach or after it passed us – only heard a light engine whine sound when directly overhead – We saw the underside of the craft it looked like a gigantic drone approximately the size of at least one big military tank. The craft was approximately 150 feet overhead – it seemed to clear the trees but was extremely low flying. Underside of the craft had grey / sliver markings that were in box like patterns – reminded me of the Star Wars space station markings. The craft appeared to gently glide past us heading into the corn field to our right (south). Thought it was going to land in the corn but lost sight of it as the corn was high. our travel speed was about 45mph and this craft we estimate to be traveling at no more than 30 to 40 mph. My husband is a private pilot, and he was shocked at the lack of prop wash or jet sounds to keep the craft airborne. Husband also noted one red light atop the vehicle, and he noted no typical aviation / navigation lighting. Husband was shocked how the size was able to stay airborne with such low speed. My husband and I each drew what we saw (see illustrations below)

Appearance of 1 uap fast moving There was apperance of 1 UAP in the sky for a duration of around 1 min to 2 mins, it appeared to be bright white sphere shaped and was moving at fast speed and then it dissapeared. As if it dissapeared into a worm hole or something like that, yesterday at the same spot there were apperance of 6 sphere shaped UAP in the sky, i have already reported the sighting. Like yesterday today as well the UAP was moving from west direction towards east. |

I woke up to a large circular bright light coming over the trees and watched it fly across the sky until it was the size of the starts We were the only campers at this part of the campground on this particular evening. We were sleeping on the edge of the trees and the small lake, in out screen tent. I woke up some time between 4am and 5:20 am and saw a large, round, bright white light slowly flying over the trees near us and almost right over our tent. I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming so I woke up my husband and asked him to put his glasses on so that he can confirm what I was seeing. He confirmed and we watched in awe as the soundless object flew across the sky. By the time it disappeared over the horizon it was moving quickly and was the size of the stars. When it was right above us it was as large as an airliner would be if it was round in shape. There were other airplanes in the sky and none looked like or behaved like what we saw. Unfortunately we were both in shock and didn’t record the event. Today it came to me that by filing this report it may help confirm other sightings at this time and location. Shortly after the moon was doing something I have never seen before. There were bright beams creating a star like shape. My husband and I are regular people who enjoy camping and do so almost every month. He is a manager in retail and I am a massage therapist.

Three UFOs shooting rays of light on the sea. I was walking on a street late at night with my two friends, when suddenly some rays of light shone on my right where the sea was. We all turned right and seen three cylindrical shaped objects flying and emitting an intense light from below. I quickly opened the camera app on my smartphone, since I already had it by hand, and shoot some fast shakey photos. Just before I could steady my hands, the UFOs disappeared in the distance at what was like a Mach-4 speed. Me and my friends were so scared after that, that neither of us could sleep that night.

Silent and Slow moving craft at very low altitude with several pulsing white lights and one red light There were white lights at a low altitude in the sky ahead of us when we were traveling in our car about 50 mph ten miles out of Fredericksburg,Tx. There was lightening and light rain from a thunderstorm we were exiting. It was very dark with only flashes of lightening. We thought it could be a plane trying to follow the road because of the weather but it was almost stationary as we approached it. For a very short time I saw four red lights beaming down below it. There were two red lights each in two straight lines that made it appear like they were lights on legs of a tower. But those lights disappeared. There is no tower in that area. I rolled down the window as we turned onto a side road so I could listen for a motor sound thinking it might be a helicopter. There was no engine noise or sound of any kind. We stopped the car and got out on the road. I took a video on my camera as it slowly moved away from us toward the east across a pasture. I could not make out the shape of the craft in the dark. I could only see three large pulsating white lights going from right to left. I am 74 years old and have never been this close to something I couldn’t identify.

a silent, dark, rectangular flying object At about 8:30pm, 9/25, I looked up into the sky and saw an object coming toward me and my family overhead. In a matter of about 2 seconds I discerned it was large, dark and rectangular, and it was swiftly gliding past, lengthwise. It was silent. It had a “belly” of a single line of lights running down its length that flashed on and off one-by-one in order — I recall them being red, blue, green, and white. I called out to my family to look, as we were outside eating. But then just as soon as I saw it and called out, the object literally “snapped” out of vision and was gone from sight for about 2 more seconds. And then, as it was directly overhead, it snapped back on and was fully visible for 2 more seconds. At this point, one of my daughters also saw it. However, she was the only other one who saw it during that second phase of visibility because she was not under the sun umbrella we had left up (my husband and son had an obstructed view and didn’t see any of it). And then it snapped back off and was completely gone. Perspective is difficult to discern when something is in the sky, but my daughter and I had the first impression that it was huge. And about the distance up of about a small aircraft. I’d guess it was the width of my minivan and triple its length. It was clearly rectangular and dark gray, perhaps metallic. The lights were small, circular LED-like brightness. It was utterly silent. It “phased” into visibility, out of visibility, back into visibility, and then was completely gone in just a matter of no more than 6-8 seconds seconds. There were no clouds between us, though it was an overcast night. I’d reached for my phone to record it, but I was only able to start recording after the object had already disappeared for good. |

Observed a object that changed from a square and ended as a cone. It was white and gold, reflected the sun as it was in daylight. On October 30 of 2020 I observed an what turned into a conical shaped object. i moved from north east direction to the south east direction from my position. I’ve taken three videos with my own phone, which is an iPhone 13. Using my fathers phone we took two videos of which we were able to zoom in on the object. Myself, my mother and father had observed the object for roughly 35 to 40 minutes. During that 30 minute observation, the object moved in a straight path, but at times would move south, then move in a north again. Sometimes it seemed to bounce. At first it looks like it was an elliptical shape, then a cube but had later on taken the shape of a cone, it had one light at the rear of the cone and one light or appendage on the bottom of the cone. There was also a commercial airliner that had passed from Southwest to Northeast toward that object. I’m pretty sure they may have seen it too. I have high definition video of the object but they’re pretty large files and doubt I can load them here so I’ll just load some of the screenshots.

Unknown object sighted near jet aircraft. On the 11-11-22 while photographing clouds, I turned my attention to a passing Virgin Australia Boeing 737. I had the aircraft in my view finder, when I noticed something extremely bright, enter from the bottom right and pass directly in front of the aircraft and disappear straight up, existing from sight. the duration of the sighting was about 6 seconds, and it was gone. I managed to get one photograph of the object, before it disappeared.

Noticed lights moving at a high speed well above the horizon. Air traffic control was aware and asked us to document East of mt .rainier on the arrival into seattle. Noticed lights moving at a high speed and varying in brightness, One time were in a inverted V formation. Moving faster than anything ever seen, Was above the horizon and continually moving. We were flight crew arriving in Seattle…. Definitely nothing ever seen in speed of movement or groupings. Several aircraft also reported seeing. |

I saw a craft shaped like a bumerang with bright lights all over the sides of it I was coming back from the corner shop at the bottom of our street (Tabley Road) when I saw in front of me, above the roofs of the houses in the part of our road which curves to the left, what looked like a craft shaped like a boomerang with bright white lights all around the sides. It was stationary above the roofs.

Bright object was seen arriving and silently hovering over neighbor’s home before moving behind our house and lighting up a window. On the morning of Thursday, Dec 1, 2022 at 6:18AM EST (taken from door camera) my wife, son (16), and daughter (12) went outside to wait for the school bus. My kids are picked up across the street from our home, and my wife was keeping watch over the kids until the bus arrives. I was indoors and still in bed, but awake. I heard them walk out and close the door and our Arlo camera recorded the time as 6:17 when my daughter first walked out, 6:18 when my wife accompanied my son out the door. The bus arrived at 6:21 and my wife reentered the house at that point. It was dark outside. The sun rises at 7:41AM on Dec 1st. While my wife was outside, the window to my bedroom lit up very brightly, as if it was daylight outside. The whole room lit up despite the shades and curtain being closed. I was lying just 3 or 4 feet from the window and sat up in bed and took notice. This window faces directly West from a walk-out basement. The street and our front door face East. The closest house to the west is roughly 427 feet away. I thought perhaps a transformer had caught fire or that some kind of space debris was burning up during reentry and lit up the outside, however I do not recall the second window in the room lighting up. It has a thicker curtain though and doesn’t get as bright during the day. I sat up confused for a few seconds, listening for any kind of noise and debating whether to get up and look outside to identify the source of light. Within about 10 to 15 seconds and before I decided what to do, the light dimmed. I then shrugged it off as unusual since that had never happened before. The window is far enough from other houses and any streets that car headlights do not shine on it, and this was much brighter than car headlights- unless maybe the car was parked right outside the window. Later in the day, I spoke to my wife and without telling her about the odd light coming through the window, I simply asked her if she noticed anything unusual outside that morning while waiting on the bus. To my astonishment, she said yes and began to describe an object hovering over our neighbor’s house to the South of ours. Their house is roughly 45 feet from ours. She described seeing a dimly lit object moving quickly approach from the S-SE at a low altitude and said she thought it to be a plane at first, but then took notice when it stopped over the neighbor’s house and began to glow brightly. She said she stepped off the porch in the front of our house and was looking towards our neighbor’s house and back in the South-Southwest direction. She said the object hovered over their house for maybe 20 seconds and then moved towards the rear of our house. She said it was silent, and that she couldn’t make out the shape because it was glowing too brightly. She said she wasn’t wearing her glasses and so even if she could see beyond the light she may not have been able to make out the shape in the dark. I asked her if she saw any blinking or colored lights and she said no. She said the light was so bright that had there been blinking lights, they might have been washed out in the glare. She said her initial reaction was that it must be some kind of police drone. She described the light as white and she said the object looked to her like a glowing orb. She recalls thinking that whatever it is must see her because the light was so bright. I asked her if she recalls the roof of the neighbors house lighting up or anything else reflecting the light and she said she did not recall that detail. Without disclosing these details, I asked my daughter and son separately, who were across the street slightly to the North-East from our house and our neighbor’s house, if they had noticed anything odd. My son indicated he had not noticed anything odd. However, my daughter said she noticed a large object in the sky in the direction of our neighbor’s house. I asked her to draw the object, and she drew it on a napkin. She said it looked futuristic like a spaceship from star trek. She perceived it to be as large as a commercial airline and thought it was in the sky some distance behind and beyond the neighbor’s house. I asked her about any sound and she said she heard no jet noise and no drone noises. I took her to the bus stop location and asked her to point where she saw it. She pointed to the same location that my wife had from our front side walk. When asked, my daughter indicated that she did not notice any blinking lights and she did not see it glowing brightly. She said she witnessed her mother step off the porch and look at something. I asked her if she saw any bright light over the house or any sort of spotlight shining back at her mother, and she said no. She insisted that she wasn’t paying attention and had only glanced in that direction for a few seconds. I asked her a few times if she saw any means of propulsion like jet engines or propellers and she indicated she did not. I asked how she was able to see the object if she noticed no lights at all and she couldn’t answer. There are street lamps near the bus stop and they may have provided some ambient illumination. She said that she thought it was a very strange looking jet that had 2 sets of wings that were the same width. She said one set was at what she believed was the rear of the object and the other set were closer to the front. She said they were not like the rear control surfaces on a jet because both sets of wings were the same size. I own a DJI Mavic 2 platinum drone which was touted as an improved version with quieter motors and quieter propellers. My kids and wife are familiar with how it sounds and looks when it is operating. It is not silent at the altitudes they were suggesting this object hovered. They described the object in question as having no sound and both said they thought it was larger than a drone. Given that she was describing the object’s appearance differently than my wife and because she said she thought it to be further in the distance, I used the FlightRadar24 website to go back to 11:16UTC and look for local air traffic from then until 11:21UTC when the bus arrived and my wife entered the house. At 11:16UTC (6:16AM EST) a Helicopter from Indiana University Health was traveling from the north-west to the south-east roughly 1.5 miles from us and was out of the area by 11:18 UTC. A UPS jet was on flightradar at 11:21:43 UTC heading from the Southeast towards the Northwest, roughly along the same coridoor as the Helicopter, but in the opposite direction. It stayed to the South of our location and turned clockwise back to the south, likely on approach to the SDF airport. The Arlo camera video confirms this timing. My wife can be seen entering our house at 11:21 UTC and afterwards you can hear the jet in the audio before the camera stops recording its 15 second clip. So it is my understanding this jet passed by AFTER the object was sighted hovering and moving behind our house. There was no other nearby air traffic on flightradar during the 11:16UTC to 11:21UTC window. I did a video screen capture of FlightRadar to save the data since it is no longer available on flightradar with a free account after 7 days. Given that the object was witnessed moving by 2 people, I disregarded any notion that it was a planet, star, or meteorite and as described by my wife and my experience with the bedroom window, it was too bright to be a satellite. I have made no conclusions as to what the object was, except that it was unusual and likely not an aircraft with a transponder. From rough triangulation of my daughter’s vantage point with my wife’s vantage point, I have concluded that it was almost certainly not in the distance as my daughter described. My wife’s view would have been obscured had it been further away. I believe it was as my wife stated, hovering above the roof of our neighbors house. She indicated it was perhaps 10 to 20 feet above their house. I did not report the object to the local police because my wife did not want the attention and I didn’t personally witness it. She preferred to have privacy. I urged her to reconsider because if this was a drone, it was a highly unusual configuration and it was sighted around a bus stop at a strange time. I am concerned about anyone surveiling my children at this time of the morning in the dark. If we ever see the object again, I intend to report it to local authorities. I chose to report this sighting here because of the following attributes: So in conclusion, if it was a consumer drone, it was a very unusual custom configuration that makes no sound and is equipped with an illegal light. I added the propellers and dots on the wing-tips in an attempt to ask her if she noticed propulsion or lights, and she said no. So those parts of the drawing were not part of the original drawing. They were added by me after the fact. She indicated the wings in front/back were the same size and and then added that the rear wings might have been slightly larger than the front wings. She did not witness the object banking and could not describe if it moved sideways.
